1st Day At SSSS – 1961

This week I shall be posting photos and articles from the school magazine during the 1960s. But there are too many to show and I do not know where to start.

Maybe this article, written by Lim Ming Ai Form 1A,  from the 1961 Sulaimanian magazine will bring a lot of memories to those during the era. The younger among us may experience differently as they already know which school to go for their secondary school even before the new year begin.

  1. Karim – A great idea – posting articles from the school magazines! Do you know if I can purchase copies of the school magazines from year 62 -64? I had them but they all vanished. I wrote a very short article in one of the issues(can’t remember what year) about, “How I learned to write a bicycle”. Thank You.

  2. Rosita,
Thank you for visiting and leaving some comments. I am just doing a little bit for our big school.
I do not know if there is a place where our old school magazines are being sold. Maybe worth finding out from the school.
I will try to find your article from the those years. And post it later. Wassalam.
